Multi-platinum pop sensations New Kids On The Block are turning up the excitement as they kick off the countdown to their highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, THE RIGHT STUFF, in honor of the beloved annual NKOTB Day.
Since April 24, 1989, NKOTB Day has been officially recognized thanks to former Massachusetts governor Michael Dukakis. Now a cherished tradition, fans across the globe celebrate by sharing their favorite Blockhead memories and iconic NKOTB moments across social media.
The group’s debut Las Vegas residency, THE RIGHT STUFF, will launch at the state-of-the-art Dolby Live at Park MGM on June 20, 2025. The residency will feature 24 shows running through February 2026, promising an unforgettable celebration of the group’s greatest hits and signature showmanship.

- July 2025: 2, 3, 5
- November 2025: 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15
- February 2026: 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28
Deep in rehearsals and creative planning, NKOTB is crafting a production unique to Las Vegas—one that promises high-energy spectacle, surprise moments, and a night fans won’t forget.
In conjunction with the residency, the band has announced the launch of BLOCKHEAD HQ, a fan destination at Park MGM. Free and open to the public, BLOCKHEAD HQ will feature exclusive merchandise, NKOTB photo ops, a memorabilia exhibit, themed food and drink, and even the Formless Beauty by Jenny McCarthy Pop-Up Experience: Fan Makeovers Live! Fans can also expect live entertainment and surprise appearances from the band.
To keep the celebration going into the night, Donnie Wahlberg will host THE RIGHT STUFF Afterparty Experience on select Saturdays: June 21, June 28, and July 5. Held at On The Record, the speakeasy-style club inside Park MGM, the afterparties will feature special guest DJs and will require separate ticketing. Further details are expected soon.
Adding even more nostalgia to the mix, 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the group’s chart-topping album Step by Step. To honor the occasion, NKOTB is releasing a special reissue of the beloved record—set to drop June 13 via Legacy Recordings. The reissue will feature bonus content and be available in a variety of formats, giving fans new ways to relive the magic of hits like “Step by Step” and “Tonight.”
As if that weren’t enough, starting today fans can wind down with the New Kids’ soothing voices via Calm. The band is making history as Calm’s first-ever boy band collaboration with their new Sleep Story, Step By Step To Sleep. Featuring personal stories, tips, and routines delivered with classic NKOTB charm, it’s a dreamy new way for fans to connect with their favorite pop icons.
The countdown is officially on—and the New Kids are ready to bring the right stuff to Las Vegas.
