The Meyers Manx, the iconic 50-year-old dune buggy that’s been copied thousands of times, is officially making its return.  Last night at Soho House Malibu, Billionaire Phillip Sarofim and Freeman Thomas, CEO of Meyers Manx revealed the electric Meyers Manx 2.0.

The Meyers Manx 2.0 will be available with two different power options: a 20 kWh battery with around 150 miles of all-electric range or a 40 kWh battery with a company estimated 300 miles of range.

The 2023 Meyers Manx 2.0 Electric was revealed as dune buggy with zero emissions.  It will be among the lightest EVs on the market, with weight varying between 1,500 to 1,650 pounds (680 to 750 kilograms) depending on the battery size.  Each one will have disc brakes at both front and rear axles along with an electric parking brake, windshield wipers, regenerative braking, and electric power steering.
