On the past weekend, Maroon 5, a multi-platinum band that has won three GRAMMY Awards, debuted their new Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, and their pair of high-energy performances were praised by both fans and critics.

Maroon 5 aimed to provide their fans with an exclusive and intimate concert experience in Dolby Live’s 5,200-seat entertainment venue with their Las Vegas residency shows. The band performed their anthemic top hits from their storied career, including RIAA Diamond-certified songs such as “Sugar,” “Girls Like You,” and “Moves Like Jagger.”

Baz Halpin produced the show, and Parker Genoway directed it, while Maroon 5 custom-designed the show for the expansive Dolby Live stage, immersing the audience in Dolby Atmos audio. According to Billboard, “With two decades of steady pop radio hits under their belts, Maroon 5 are a perfect fit for a Las Vegas residency, breezing through a tight 20-song setlist.”

Adam Levine, the frontman of Maroon 5, said, “This show is very different from our other concerts as we are performing in a permanent space, which instantly changes the possibilities of what we can do in a live setting production-wise. Performing at Dolby Live has given us the opportunity to intersect new and elevated production, as well as add in some new players from horns to great background vocalists. The format of the show is also different as it’s Vegas, and we wanted to make it unique for our fans. As a result, the audience should truly expect something really special from what we’ve ever done in a live setting before.”

Every element of the show’s immersive design caters to the Dolby Live theater, from the panoramic, multi-layered video box to the Dolby Atmos sound design, ensuring that every seat in the room experiences the band’s performance in an intimate way only possible in a Vegas residency. The band served hit after hit in a show that perfectly encapsulates Maroon 5 and their biggest moments from the past 20 years, with rich sound and high-intensity visuals surrounding and enveloping fans.

Tickets for M5LV The Residency, presented in partnership by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com/maroon5vegas, with all shows scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. The concert dates are as follows: March 29 & 31, April 1, 5, 7 & 8, July 28 & 29, and August 2, 4, 5, 9, 11 & 12.

Maroon 5 is widely recognized as one of pop music’s most enduring and significant acts of the 21st century. Since the release of their renowned debut album, Songs About Jane, the Los Angeles band has sold over 96 million albums and 658 million singles worldwide, and has won three GRAMMY® Awards. With over 20 billion combined streams on Spotify, Maroon 5 holds the record for the most billion-plus streamed songs by a group, with nine.

Recently, Adam Levine became the first artist on Spotify to have 1 billion streams on a song as part of a group and 1 billion streams on a song as a soloist, with Gym Class Hero’s “Stereo Hearts” featuring Adam Levine. This achievement is similar to when “Moves Likes Jagger” hit #1 and Adam became the first artist in the Hot 100’s 60-year history to reach #1 as part of a group, while entering the Top 10 at the same time as a soloist on “Stereo Hearts”.
