For more than 250 years Carton House in County Kildare has been the finest Georgian estate in Ireland. Recently purchased by the Irish-American Mullen family and having undergone an extensive restoration and a luxury redesign it now open as the first Fairmont managed resort in the country, its sister properties including the likes of The Savoy in London and The Plaza in New York.

The renewed splendor of the great estate, which is also famous for its fine dining and two championship golf courses, offers hospitality on a grand scale.
