2022 marks Her Majesty The Queen’s 70 years of service and Sofitel London St James, just a stone’s throw away from Buckingham Palace, is celebrating the first ever Platinum Jubilee year in style.

Commemorate the Queen’s platinum jubilee at St James Bar with these three cocktails:

Lilibet Fizz – £18

Inspired by the birthday and early life of the Queen, this drink features two of her best-loved beverages: Pimm’s Cup N.1 and Bollinger Champagne, which hold the Royal Warrant. Perfect for summer, the light and refreshing cocktail has the DNA of a classic Pimm’s Cup, with its fruity and herbaceous notes.

The Coronation – £17

Inspired by the coronation, a moment filled with resplendent jewellery and exquisite garments, this cocktail sparkles with intensity, richness and depth. Sprayed with subtle notes of bergamot and wood, the serve pays homage to the Queen’s preferred teas: Earl Grey and Assam.

Jubilee Gimlet – £17

Inspired by the classic ‘Gimlet’ cocktail, this royal purple tipple, is a variation of the Queen’s favourite Martini. In order to give acidity but keep the sweeter floral notes from the Champagne, the cocktail consists of gin and Champagne used in the form of a cordial, an acidified syrup.
