McLaren at 2023 Milano Monza Motor Show in Italy

The 3rd edition of MIMO had ended a few hours ago, and the echo of the enthusiasm from the 60,000 visitors who had colored the Autodromo Nazionale Monza from June 16-18 could still be heard. All areas, including paddocks, grandstands, and pits, had been crowded by the attendees.

The test drives organized in collaboration with Plenitude and proposed by car manufacturers BYD, Cirelli, Dodge, Hyundai, Mazda, Mole Urbana, Nissan, Polestar, Ram, Suzuki, Suzuki moto, Volkswagen, and Verge Motorcycle were sold out. Long queues had formed in front of their stands from the early morning, just like the queues that had filled the pits and paddocks with hypercars and supercars from Apollo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Dallara, De Tomaso, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Pambuffetti, and 777 hypercars.

The absolute performances and hot laps by these vehicles captivated the spectators, filling the grandstands and igniting the adrenaline of the visitors at every turn in the paddock.

MIMO had been chosen by the Italian brand AEHRA to present its Sedan, a full electric sedan designed by Filippo Perini, in a world premiere. Grassi Scuderia Milano had also selected the Monza public to showcase its 044s.

The success of the event resounded in the words of Andrea Levy, the President of MIMO. He expressed his gratitude to all the exhibitors who had believed in what, on paper, was the 3rd edition of MIMO but, in reality, was a zero edition meticulously set up and organized at the Monza National Autodrome.

The organizers had always believed that the racetrack was the perfect venue for the motoring festival they had envisioned, and the overwhelming enthusiasm and attendance over the past three days had affirmed this belief.

Plans were already underway for the next edition in 2024, with efforts focused on enhancing the format even further. Together with their partners, they were currently finalizing the dates, which were most likely to bring MIMO to the end of June.
