Hong Kong is about to shine brighter than ever. This holiday season, the city transforms its iconic Central district into a full-blown Winter Wonderland, complete with immersive light shows, a towering Christmas tree, festive markets, and celebrations across town.

From 14 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, Hong Kong WinterFest returns with its biggest lineup yet, reaffirming the city’s reputation as Asia’s Christmas capital.

Central Gets a Full Winter Glow-Up

For the first time, Central’s skyline becomes the canvas for the brand-new Immersive Light Show in Central. Eight of the district’s most recognizable buildings will be lit up in a synchronized multimedia performance.

Using 3D projection mapping, sound, and lighting, Central’s skyscrapers will come alive with reindeer, angels, snowmen, and shimmering gift boxes moving to festive beats. The cityscape will transform into a cinematic holiday dream that blends art and celebration.

Statue Square Becomes a Fairy-Tale Christmas Town

At Statue Square Garden, the much-loved Christmas Town returns to spread pure festive joy. Visitors can expect toy-themed decorations, colourful installations, and an atmosphere that feels straight out of a storybook.

There will be live carols, surprise Santa visits, and the sweet scent of seasonal treats in the air. The highlight is a 20-metre-tall Christmas tree, wrapped in golden ribbons and glowing like a beacon of warmth. Around it, 12 festive chalets will host a Christmas market filled with handmade gifts, winter bites, and creative workshops.

When evening arrives, Chater Road transforms into Starlight Boulevard, lined with more than 30 illuminated trees. The walkway connects seamlessly to LANDMARK, creating a glowing trail perfect for evening strolls and photo moments.

“Noëlia at LANDMARK” Brings the Magic Indoors

Inside LANDMARK ATRIUM, the city’s most anticipated festive installation, “Noëlia at LANDMARK,” invites visitors into an enchanting holiday scene.

Spanning 30 metres wide and featuring an 11-metre-tall lighthouse, the installation includes Hong Kong’s largest interactive Wishing Lake, a 12×12-metre pool of light designed for making wishes and capturing memories. It’s the city’s indoor winter dreamland, complete with whimsical details and endless photo opportunities.

Citywide Festivities and Exclusive Offers

Across the city, the festive energy continues. Shopping malls, hotels, and theme parks will sparkle with decorations and host a full calendar of celebrations.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is launching WinterFest Delights in December, offering over 300 exclusive deals on dining, shopping, attractions, and transport. A new online platform will help visitors plan their perfect holiday experience with ease.

HKTB Chairman Dr Peter Lam says this year’s WinterFest aims to “create a strong festive atmosphere citywide and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s top winter travel destination.”

Countdown to 2026: Fireworks and Festive Vibes

The celebration culminates on New Year’s Eve with a breathtaking fireworks countdown over Victoria Harbour, lighting up the sky as the city welcomes 2026.

From glowing streets and cozy markets to rooftop toasts and waterfront fireworks, Hong Kong WinterFest 2025–26 promises a holiday season that blends style, magic, and unforgettable moments.

Pack your camera, gather your friends, and get ready to experience the most spectacular winter in Asia.
