This Mid-Autumn Festival, Carlton Hotel Singapore introduces a refined collection of handcrafted mooncakes that bring together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary flavours. The 2025 lineup features classic baked selections from Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant, accompanied by two new snow skin creations developed by the hotel’s pastry team.

Making their debut this year are the Mini Da Hong Pao Milk Tea Snow Skin 迷你大红袍奶茶冰皮 and Mini Strawberry Passionfruit Snow Skin 迷你草莓百香果冰皮 (both priced at $85 for 8 pieces). The Mini Da Hong Pao Milk Tea variety pairs the rich aroma of premium Chinese tea with the smooth, creamy notes of milk tea. The Mini Strawberry Passionfruit Snow Skin offers a blend of strawberry, passionfruit, and licorice citrus for a refreshing and fruity profile.

Returning due to continued demand, the Mini Mao Shan Wang Snow Skin Mooncake 迷你猫山王榴莲冰皮 ($90 for 8 pieces) features pure Mao Shan Wang durian encased in soft snow skin. Known for its intense flavour and creamy texture, this mooncake remains a favourite among durian enthusiasts.

At the core of the collection are Wah Lok’s traditional baked mooncakes, prepared using classic Cantonese methods and high-quality ingredients. The White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk 传统双黄白莲蓉 ($95 for 4 pieces) balances smooth lotus paste with the savoury flavour of salted egg yolks. For those seeking a more textured option, the Traditional Mixed Nuts 传统伍仁 ($95 for 4 pieces) includes tangerine peel, winter melon, and an assortment of roasted nuts and seeds.

The Mini Walnut Moon Tart with Yolk 迷你蛋黄核桃月酥 ($90 for 8 pieces) continues to be a highlight with its buttery tart crust, aromatic lotus paste, crunchy walnuts, and salted egg yolk. A low sugar and yolk-free alternative is also offered for a lighter version of this festive treat.

The mooncakes are presented in a thoughtfully designed box in a red hue, featuring three-dimensional floral motifs inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the orchid. In celebration of SG60, the packaging pays tribute to national identity. In support of sustainability, the box has been designed for reuse as a tissue holder, combining practicality with festive elegance.

Online pre-orders are available from 21 July to 29 September 2025 at celebrations.carltonhotel.sg. Collection and walk-in purchases can be made at the Carlton Hotel Singapore festive lobby booth from 4 August to 6 October 2025, with options for both delivery and self-pickup.
