Perched high above the elegant avenues of Paris, The Rooftop at The Peninsula Paris has reopened for the summer, offering one of the most breathtaking dining experiences in the city. Nestled on the sixth and top floor of the legendary hotel, this iconic terrace provides sweeping panoramic views that stretch from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre—a front-row seat to the City of Light in all its twilight glory.
The space, aptly named “L’Heure Dorée” (The Golden Hour), delivers more than just an unforgettable skyline. Guests are invited to savor a curated selection of small plates by Michelin-starred Chef David Bizet, whose creations balance precision and elegance, as well as delicate sweet offerings from acclaimed Pastry Chef Anne Coruble. The cocktail menu is equally refined, featuring both house signatures and inspired collaborations—most notably with distinguished whisky label The Macallan.
Ambience plays a starring role at L’Heure Dorée. A tranquil blend of natural materials and lush greenery sets the tone, while a musical soundscape designed by French collective Bon Entendeur drifts through the air. The result is a sensory experience steeped in the relaxed elegance of a Parisian summer, underscored by the retro-chic spirit of Bon Entendeur’s “Belle Époque” label.
Open daily (weather permitting) from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM—with food service from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM—the rooftop welcomes guests without reservations, on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited, adding to the intimate, exclusive feel of the venue.
For those seeking a golden-hued escape above the rooftops of Paris, The Peninsula’s elevated terrace offers an enchanting interlude—where city lights meet culinary artistry in the most stylish of settings.
