Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, in collaboration with Central Perk Coffee Co. and CenPer Holdings, LLC, has officially announced the highly anticipated debut of Central Perk Coffeehouse in Boston, Massachusetts’s historic Back Bay neighborhood, set to open its doors in October 2023. Situated within a charming Newbury Street brownstone, this extraordinary coffeehouse, inspired by the iconic hangout spot from the beloved TV show FRIENDS, is poised to become a prominent landmark where cherished memories, exceptional coffee, and delectable food come together.

Drawing inspiration from the unforgettable camaraderie of the show’s characters—Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross—the inaugural Central Perk Coffeehouse transcends mere nostalgia. It emerges as a vibrant, fully operational coffeehouse and a contemporary haven, meticulously crafted by a team of culinary and design experts, including the renowned Top Chef and James Beard Award Winner, Tom Colicchio, and the acclaimed New York architects, Glen & Co. The menu is a testament to Central Perk’s commitment to preserving the essence of the original coffeehouse, offering a diverse array of coffee and food options in a modern yet familiar setting, promising an unmatched dining and coffee experience for both locals and visitors. Two enticing outdoor patios and a charming streetside parklet beckon patrons to savor their moments outdoors. Meanwhile, the cozy Orange Sofa room, inspired by the iconic Central Perk couch, and the surrounding area provide a perfect space for celebrating special moments and gatherings.

With Top Chef Tom Colicchio’s culinary expertise, Central Perk Coffeehouse presents an eclectic FRIENDS themed menu, featuring a playful array of beverages and dishes, each cleverly named to pay tribute to the beloved characters and memorable moments from the show. From Princess Consuela’s Banana Mocha blend to Chandler’s Chocolate Milk Cold Foam, and a selection of beer, wine, and cordials, including a creative twist on espresso martinis, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Guests can indulge in delights such as Master Baker Melissa Weller’s Signature CP Bagel, Joey’s Meatball Sandwich, Rachel’s Side Salad, Grandma’s Chicken Salad, Weekend at Caesars Salad, Mama’s Little Bakery Cheesecake, and more. Central Perk Coffeehouse transcends the ordinary, merging coffee craftsmanship with culinary excellence to create an unforgettable experience for fans and food enthusiasts alike.
