Located in the picturesque Coachella Valley of Southern California, the Indian Wells Golf Resort celebrates its 36th anniversary as a world-class public golf, vacation, culinary, and events destination. It boasts two championship golf courses, The Players and The Celebrity layouts, which have received rave reviews and hosted prestigious events such as the groundbreaking “Skins Game,” featuring legendary golfers, three PGA TOUR Champions events, and the GOLF Channel’s “Big Break.” The resort’s spectacular 53,000-square-foot clubhouse is home to The Vue Grille & Bar, offering award-winning cuisine and friendly service.

Owned by the city of Indian Wells, the renowned resort is located within walking distance from four luxury area hotels, making it an ideal retreat for golfers of all skill levels, as well as group outings, weddings, and family getaways. Additionally, the resort introduces four new webcams that stream live on Earthcam.com, providing round-the-clock views of the property’s courses and facilities.

Indian Wells Golf Resort recently hosted an episode of Breaking Par’s “Ace Race with Tania Tare” on its Celebrity Course. The show, owned, produced, and distributed by Elevated Media Partners, is an Emmy-nominated golf television program broadcast nationally in over 100 million households across various regional sports networks, including Bally Sports.

The thrilling competition featured Tania Tare, a noted professional golfer and golf trick shot superstar, competing against World Long Drive Champion Troy Mullins. Their objective was to sink the most holes in one in a race against time. Playing on the beautiful par-3 16th hole of the Celebrity Course, measuring 140 yards, both competitors defied the odds by achieving two holes-in-one within four hours before the first tee time of the day, signaling the end of the exciting “Ace Race.” To determine the winner, Mullins secured victory by hitting the most balls inside a four-foot circle around the pin.

The acclaimed resort’s 36 holes of exceptional golf are widely recognized as two of the finest public courses in California and the United States. The Celebrity Course, designed by architect Clive Clark and affectionately known as “Beauty,” earned recognition in 2023 from GOLF Channel’s GolfPass as one of the “50 Most Popular Courses in the U.S.” It showcases stunning water features, vibrant wildflowers, and narrow fairways that require precise shot making.

On the other hand, the Players Course, designed by John Fought and dubbed “The Beast,” offers a longer, more open layout with challenging bunkers and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Like the Celebrity Course, the Players Course is free from roads and residential areas, allowing golfers to enjoy a sense of privacy and escape in the vibrant Coachella Valley.

Ben Rodny, the director of sales and marketing at Indian Wells Golf Resort, expressed excitement about hosting the “Ace Race” episode on the stunning Celebrity Course, highlighting the beauty of their courses in the Coachella Valley and the enjoyment that golfers experience there.

Ryan Johnson, the executive producer of Breaking Par, praised the episode as something truly special, praising the world-class Indian Wells Golf Resort as an ideal setting. He emphasized the show’s commitment to delivering entertaining content that appeals to both golfers and non-golfers, and he looked forward to the episode airing throughout July and August.

The latest episode of “Ace Race” premiered on July 1 and can be viewed on Bally Sports until August 31. It will also be available on the @BreakingParTV YouTube channel. The winner of the competition not only earned bragging rights but also received a custom Phat Rides, a “Phat Caddie” golf scooter equipped with all the necessary accessories for a golfer.

In addition to its exceptional golf courses, Indian Wells Golf Resort features 17 brand new Top Tracer Driving Range hitting bays. These bays offer comfortable seating, high-definition TVs, and top-notch food and drink service. Alongside The Academy programming, the driving range is a key feature of Shots in the Night, an outstanding outdoor golf entertainment experience catering to players of all skill levels, including beginners.
